halloween pumpkins 2026!
every halloween, i, my parents, and my brother (henceforth "V") get together to carve jack-o-lanterns. here's what we created this year!
from left to right: Padre, Mum, me, and V.
Padre usually carves silly monster faces in his pumpkins. he never draws the face on his pumpkin first; he just wings it. Mum usually accessorizes; this year, she adorned her pumpkin with a Chicago Cubs bucket hat, bead necklaces, and a baseball in its nose. oh, and blinking eye lights. go, cubs, go!
i used to carve "pumpkin-shape" faces of cartoon characters; one year, i carved Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and another i carved Luz from The Owl House. but for the past 3 years, i did general cute faces. this year, it's a twinkly wink! ;D and V did the face of the pokémon Cacturne; he usually carves the faces of pokémon, birds, or horror movie villains.
